What began as a simple email sent earlier in the year quietly led to one of the biggest moments of my photography journey so far—shooting The Amazons on their 21st Century Fiction UK Tour.

From the intensity of the photo pit to the chaos of the crowd and the stillness of the balcony above it all, this wasn’t just a gig review. It was a story about momentum, risk, and what happens when you put yourself forward without knowing where it might lead.

From local acts to touring musicians, it became less about turnout and more about what live music looks like when everything else is stripped back, offering a different perspective on performance, community, and the moments that often go unnoticed.

Some nights don’t follow the plan you arrive with. This one shifted through conversation, atmosphere, and chance encounters, leading me from a support set into something deeper—where Proud Mary’s history, presence, and quiet confidence changed the way I saw the night entirely.
