DUNN & DUSTED Visuals began with exploring the world.

Before this business existed, before weddings, events and commissioned work, photography was simply my way of documenting and sharing the places I had visited. It became a visual cue for the stories I would tell family and friends — a way of reminiscing and holding on to moments that mattered to me.

If travel and photography have taught me anything, it’s how to slow down. They’ve taught me the power of observation, and the importance of noticing the details people often overlook — light, movement, atmosphere, energy and feeling.

That way of seeing has never left me.

While travel photography remains one of my greatest passions, over time it became less about the destination itself and more about the stories unfolding within it. Whether it’s someone’s wedding day, a live gig, a quiet moment while travelling, or the craft and character found in automotive and product design, I’m drawn to capturing moments as they naturally happen, without forcing them to be anything they’re not.

I apply considered, stylised edits to certain images to enhance the mood and atmosphere I experienced in the moment — to reflect how the scene felt, not just how it looked.

Today, DUNN & DUSTED Visuals represents the same passion that first drew me to photography, now refined and expanded into a professional practice. I still approach every shoot with the same curiosity and intention, but with a deeper understanding of responsibility, consistency and creative discipline.

Turning this passion into a career matters to me because I’m committed to continual growth — developing my skills, learning from every experience, and expanding my creative and technical knowledge. I’m driven by the challenge of working in dynamic, unpredictable environments, and I take pride in my ability to adapt, think clearly and solve problems in the moment.

Above all, I hold myself to a high standard. Every project is approached with the aim of delivering work I’m genuinely proud of — consistently, thoughtfully and to the best of my ability.
